356 Roadster

The Roadster denomination was born in the 356 generation as a successor to the Convertible D (where “D” is abbreviation of Karosseriewerke Drauz, responsible for the bodywork), which in turn replaced the classic Speedster version from August 1958. Both the Convertible D and the Roadster differed from the spartan Speedster by offering a more sophisticated finish, with a higher windshield, glass side windows and confortable seats for two occupants. The Chamonix Roadster strictly follows this recipe for luxury and comfort combined with technical innovations that make it a coveted Tribute Car. That's because it brings together the classic design of the past with modern solutions that improve not only the drivability, but also the safety of the model, making the experience behind the steering wheel even more pleasurable.
